Full-Stack React Developer with 2-3+ years experience

We are looking for a solid full-stack React Software Developer. You will join our team to build the next generation of our platform, MemberHub provides nonprofit groups with e-commerce, fundraising, membership management, and communication tools to further their mission - plus an innovative new Givebacks feature that helps groups reward their supporters with special savings while earning passive income and boosting businesses in their community.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

A day in the life:

  • Build awesome products with a purpose

  • Manage projects that strive to give great user experiences, going beyond minimum requirements

  • Work as a team to get code reviewed and completed

  • Daily stand-ups in Slack

  • Planning meetings each sprint


What we’re looking for:

  • Desire to build a great user experience that goes above and beyond expectations

  • Good written and verbal communication and comfortable in a team environment

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and document deviations/abnormalities

  • Comfortable with a flexible agile working environment (moving cards through swimlanes, estimating, retrospectives)


Position requires:

  • At least 2-3 years building production ready React SPAs

  • At least 1-2 years Ruby on Rails experience

  • At least 1 year experience with Restful API'S

  • At least 1 year working with Github pull requests and code reviews

  • Engages in TDD as standard practice

  • Experience building, maintaining and improving a React component library 


Not required but we’d love to see experience with:

  • Experience building, maintaining and improving a React component library 

  • Experience with start-ups and/or small fast-paced teams

  • Building for and integrating with various third-party APIs

  • Passion for automation

  • Experience with services model architecture

  • DevOps/AWS Experience

Strategic Account Representative

We are looking for a talented and ambitious "hunter" Sales Development Representative who thrives in a high-impact startup sales environment. As our first SDR hire, the successful candidate will play a key role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives and will get in on the ground floor of our rapidly growing sales team with multiple career paths available.


Your day-to-day will include:


Relationship Management:

  • Build & strengthen customer relationships with MemberHub’s top 500 schools

  • Serve as brand ambassador for MemberHub, reaching out to the leaders of your target organizations to introduce them to our value proposition, mission, and values.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MemberHub’s product and services; become a product expert

  • Enhance the reputation of MemberHub, improving the likelihood of referral of our services to others


Consultative Selling:

  • Develop new sales opportunities with MemberHub’s top 500 schools through cold prospecting, lead generation and follow up

  • Work with existing customers to maintain and increase business

  • Schedule and conduct virtual demos to demonstrate MemberHub’s functionality, answer questions, and gather input

  • Educate customers on the value and benefits of MemberHub’s paid features and partner relationships, and help them decide what type of product is best for them

  • Convert organization to paid product features and partner relationships

  • Achieve revenue targets/quotas by bringing in orders and closing sales, bringing in Customer Success Representatives as needed

  • Develop and pass on leads for major sales to the CEO



  • Diligence and enthusiasm; you appreciate quality and deliver it on a daily basis

  • Ability to travel up to 25% to attend conferences and meetings

  • Team spirit; you seriously care about what you do and appreciate collaborating with your colleagues

  • College Degree (BA/BS) Preferred

  • 3-5 years’ experience and proven success in a previous comparable Inside sales position

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to exceed quotas

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Patience, empathy and persistence in a customer-facing context

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and HubSpot or similar CRM

  • Must be teachable and a quick study

  • Maintain minimum levels of cold calls and product demonstrations.


Bonus points for:

  •  Understanding of SaaS, technology or Ed Tech Industry

  •  Interest in solving challenges and having an impact in new team campaigns and initiatives



  • Competitive base salary contingent on level of experience plus sales commissions

  • $70k-$90 on target total compensation
